JosephA. Monachino is organizing a bi- annual event, Author’s Day, 10 am to 3pm for Mississauga Writers Group members to sell their books.  Studio 89, 2520 Eglinton Ave W, Mississauga, will be the venue and it has high pedestrian traffic.  The cost to cover our costs will be $10/each and the venue has room for 7 authors with their books.  The event will be held on June 21st to coincide with the summer readings – and the second week of December to coincide with Holiday Season reading.  He’d like to announce this at the AGM to see if there are any group members who may want to be part of this event.  Contact Elizabeth at writers.mississaugawritersgroup@gmail.com if you would like to be part of the Author’s Day!

“JACKPOT!” won the Best Short Film-Drama award at the 2025 Niagara Canada International Film Festival .

“Jackpot!” has been selected for the Niagara Canada Film Festival taking place on June 6-8.
