JosephA. Monachino is organizing a bi- annual event, Author’s Day, 10 am to 6 pm for Mississauga Writers Group members to sell their books.  Studio 89, 2520 Eglinton Ave W, Mississauga, will be the venue and it has high pedestrian traffic.  The cost to cover our costs will be $10/each and the venue has room for 7 authors with their books.  The event will be held on June 15^th to coincide with the summer readings – and the second week of December to coincide with Holiday Season reading.  He’d like to announce this at the AGM to see if there are any group members who may want to be part of this event.  Contact Elizabeth at writers.mississaugawritersgroup@gmail.com if you would like to be part of the Author’s Day!

Joseph also announced this – 2024-25 Local Authors Showcase Book Fair – Brampton Library Local Authors Showcase Book Fair will be held on Saturday June 22^nd 8 am – 1 pm at Ken Whillans Square, 41 Main Street South, Brampton.  If you are interested, please contact Elizabeth and I will send you the particulars.  Please RSVP by Monday May 6^th at 5 pm.  Spaces limited.
